Here lies of Rune/Glyph (Tattoos) I made exclusively for Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter series. The Titles; The Mortal Instruments | The Infernal Devices | The Dark Artifices | Shadowhunter Academy

It's a pretty long and growing series. There are several other Shadowhunter titles I cannot (and will most likely never be able to recall. I'm only one rather short girl after all. There is only so much data 5'1" can retain.) These rune/glyphs however, world over venerated designs have donned canvas shoes, iPad cases, hair fades, bedroom/office walls, notebooks, backpack, best-friends with sharpies, pastries of all sorts, jewelry and weapons wear. But more devotedly the skin therein. I'm dedicated to expressing my heartfelt "Agape" affection, whereas this here is a collection of the more officious forum connection; well I say officious I really mean pretty. As the series grows I will add what/when I can but there is so much more of you than my s'elf. So many pretty vids, I'm going to try to keep it structured and aesthetic for your viewing pleasure.

A number of the Original 20 Runic designs were included in the Shadowhunter’s Codex (with some flaws in print but you can't get everything perfect) These were among the designs featured in the Film and TV Series.

An additional 30 were included in the Lord of Shadows as an exclusive to book fans.

1) SHADOWHUNTER’S GUIDE
2) “CITY OF BONES” MOVIE TIE-IN EDITION
3) THE OFFICIAL ILLUSTRATED COMPANION

as I understand it, http://www.hottopic.com/ carried these "Official" Shadowhunter line for (thankfully) a limited period. Color me underwhelmed.

y'know, its been about 20+ years I’ve watched my artwork don people’s skin. I want to say it’s terribly different seeing it dolled up and scaled for large and small-screen but it really isn’t. It's grander but that loses the intimacy of personally tattooing people, learning their story and becoming part of their story always gave me. But tattooing was the start of my story, that I'm now sharing with millions, so that's a nice twist. I guess that's an awesome prank I played on the world, or the world's played on me.
