Creative: Primarily helping to design a functional shape and product which could be used by professionals and budding photographers alike.

For work experience I had the chance to work for LEE Filters. It was a 8 week placement but a lot got crammed into a short space of time. I visited a show in Birmingham, visited all their manufactures and even did different jobs around the factory. As well as this process I helped them to create their new micro filter holder the Sev5n and carried out some field and user research with them. 

 

After my placement I continued to work with them, prepping some packaging ideas up until the product was released in Germany.This is now on sale for the general public to buy and I am continuing to work with them on other projects.

 

Since the product was launched the holder has turned over more than £183k in 15 months and is used by many professional photographers such as Joe Cornish (pictured below) who has produced a significant bosy of work for the national trust and carries it in his everyday kit.
