Serco Prize for Illustration 2014 - London Stories
An illustration for the Serco Prize for Illustration 2014 'London Stories' competition. This illustration charts the 70 year career of Alfred Collins, London's longest serving taxi driver, who picked up his first passenger in 1937.
Starting in the late 1930's, the illustration depicts the same London street throughout the decades. The shops, buildings, vehicles and fashions change as Alfred travels through the seasons of his life.
