Science has proven that smell is the sense that triggers our memory the most, but the BFA class of 2012 is challenging scientific fact with their own ideas about their senses. Many, when asked, said that either sight or smell triggers our memory. They were also asked what sense they would give up if the situation presented itself and low and behold, the majority would put smell out to pasture. But I don't think many thought this choice all the way through, as this map will show us, we value sense of smell a lot more than we think.
