These were the three pieces of art I chose to display in my senior exhibition, named "untitled". Since I took a minor in biology and I was taking invertebrate zoology at the time, I wanted to emphasize my desire to go into scientific and educational illustration by featuring members from my favorite phylum, Mollusca. I wanted to draw attention to the fact that not all educational and textbook has to be minimal, black and white line drawings. Something that teaches you doesn't have to bore you to death. In fact, I think the longer you can hold attention to the image, the more information you will ultimately impart, so why not make it beautiful?
