This brief was to create a self promoting package to aim at a design company we admired, with the intention of possibly gaining an internship. I chose to target my piece towards Dutch design studio, Studio Dunbar.

I looked into the ideas of the ways in which I could slowly reveal my identity, and reflecting my character through my constant use of folds. In this package, I created a grid structure from a deconstructed decision maker, which caused the basis to my design. Around this, I created another grid from within the packaging of the zine.

 

The imagery consists of a scan of my face in a blaclava, which is slowly revealed through the process of reading my package. The zine which is placed in the center of the packagaing, works similarly to a business card, which unfolds into a poster with the revealed image of me.

I intend to send this over to Rotterdam in the summer.
