These self portraits are depicting the issue of self disatisfaction. Women are becoming constantly disatisfied with their appearance and how they look due to societies projection of how a women should be in order to be beautiful. 
The images delve into the constant obsession women have with their appearance and the need to use surgery in order to create the look they want. We simply cannot accept age, and the natural process of growing old. We are guided to believe a fictional projection of how a women should look to be beautiful.
