It just so happened that I did this particular shoot on Ash Wednesday. I didn't realize it until I heard it mentioned in the news. That made me a bit hesitant about the location I wanted to photograph at. There are a ton of beautiful old churches here, and I wanted one as the background. I settled on shooting up the sidewalk, with the church to the side. As fate would have it, there was a convent a couple doors down. My Mother, playing the nun, wanted a photo in front of it.
