I was commissioned by the Dunedin Public Art Gallery (DPAG) to run five dance workshops with the aim of creating a short choreography in response to Yvonne Todd's 'Wall of Seahorsel' exhibition. I worked with the dancers to capture the exploration of posture, movement and stillness of Todd's photography, as well as her innate quirky aesthetic. We performed our responsive choreography at the closing of the exhibition. The costumes and props were created by Katrina Thomson.
