This is a design submitted for a T-Shirt design competition held by MPA Singapore. The brief was to create a design that shows a personal impression of MPA. This design won the 1st place of the competition.
I have decided to use anchor as the main object in this design, anchor was the very first object that came up to my mind when I heard the word ‘maritime’. It is very related to the sea and hence the design of this is done in light blue color. To create a better effect, I did not directly illustrate the anchor, but instead I used a line illusion to create the shape of it. This idea was gotten fom the fact that anchor would be used underwater, which would not be clearly seen when it’s sunk.
