Work at AMPP Design
At the start of the new year 2hD Architects approached AMPP to work on an experimental sculptural piece for One Thoresby Street.
Located in Nottingham, the organisation comprises of emerging and established artists where it hosts some cutting edge exhibitions in the world of contemporary art.
The premise of the project was to develop an installation that would serve as artistic sculpture that would promote the organisation.

The organisation wanted to do a lot of the work themselves to try and save costs. Another factor was to create a framework that they can amend in the future - so we developed a structure using scaffolding which will allow them to create an installation that can be amended whenever they want to.

The overall concept was to allow flexibility and we felt that this was a simple method to allow the organisation to promote the work that was being shown at the Gallery.
