This work is all of the best works (in my opinion) that I created throughout my school career.
Identity assignment: create an identity for a magazine of your choice. In this case I created a logo for a music magazine entitled 'The Sound'
First spread of 3: Was asked to create a magazine main spread based on an identity we created (in this case a magazine entitled 'The Sound'). Using photos I took at a show of people on a local label called Deepblip records (one photo credit to Ashley Cova). Article taken from theuntz.com.
Spread 2 of 3 of 'The Sound' main spread.
Final spread of 'The Sound'.
Small book created for a typography class: asked to take a section of text from a book and create a mini book. Using a rather difficult font, I was forced to go in and self kern many areas, furthering my appreciation for typography.
Poster created based on the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The 39 Steps". Being such an old movie, getting quality images would of been difficult with such a big poster (24'x36'). I decided to go typographical for this because the whole movie is a mystery so the background is all completely different things the 39 steps could be.
Rebranding of a school project based on local sustainable food growth.
Group project: A group of 3 Wayne State students and 3 students from a California university collaborated to redesign an already known tea box.
Assignment to take a chunk of text about symmetrical and asymmetrical typography and create one or the other.
