The aim of this project was to create a display type based on a systematic and modular approach. And using the generated letterform, design a full-colour cd sleeve for a music artist. 
 

As an artist, P!nk has a very strong attitude that I really like. P!nk has never been afraid to speak her mind, bare her soul, and share her deepest feelings in her songs. I used triangles to create my font because the three points to me, were very strong and somehow it portrays the strong attitude that P!nk has. I really like the bold effect that the triangles give when lined up together to form a letter. 

 

As for the background, the different sized triangles, combined together to make a whole collage of overlapping triangles in different opacities gives the effect of shattered glass. This suits the theme "Raise your Glass". The colour scheme for the cover is in shades of pink, purple and grey. This is because even though P!nk appears to be very strong and aggressive, her songs are actually quite emotional and she also has a tinge of soft and feminine side to her.
