School Center in the area of Ampelokipoi
The composition of the building was strongly influenced by modern pedagogical theories based
on student-centered teaching, combined with the use of technology in education. The aim of the
new pedagogy to transmute the student from passive object to a self-regulating and autonomous
person who can build single knowledge (Cognitive Constructivism). The first thought was at the city connecting the building to nearby schools so that they become part of a whole, the forecourt in front of the plot (K.A.P.A.PS. park) could and serve as an extension of the school yard out, useful for alternative ways
of teaching and concentrations of two or more schools. The solution given was to create a road on
which hinged on either side of this functional modules. The “learning path” as it was called, has the aim
of bringing the community into the school environment to get the same with it.A diagonal traffic
