The Scentsy Buddy product line was launched by Scentsy in an effort to position the company better as a family company, and provide another avenue for home fragrance. The website, www.ScentsyBuddy.com, serves as an extension of the product experience. When a child has been given a Scentsy Buddy, they can register their new friend on the website. They take the Scentsy Buddy oath, and have the ability to print out a custom birth certificate of their buddy. Beyond this, the website's goal is to continue product engagement through games, downloadable media and fragrance education. It is important to note that ScentsyBuddy.com was not intended as a sales piece.
The Website won a Silver Award by the Idaho Advertising Federation, and an honorable mention in an article written by Design Shack.
