I was asked to create a design for the Say Something Poster Project and was told the poster should illustrate a piece of advice I would give to kids and teenagers. I created one poster that would speak more to teenagers and illustrate the power they have in the things they say. The poster of the gun is meant to make them think before they speak and to realize the impact their words can have. The second poster is designed with a younger audience in mind. I like the comedic quality of a half-bird, half-bear presenting the message that 'anything is possible.' I imagine he would follow up the statement by saying "trust me, I would know." I also chose to make it more colorful to appeal to the younger crowd. Both posters are hand-lettered.
