  • Saving Silence is a South African soft-rock band that wanted to update their branding.

    They didn't want to change their logo entirely, but give it a fresh appearance and a complimentary visual palette to accompany it.

    I took what they had, which I felt was a bit too soft and made it more refined and quite a bit bolder (in weight and statement). I also wanted to showcase their music's natural personality - its genuine and emotive sound - so I developed (what I'm calling) visual acoustic. It's made up of hand-rendered elements that evoke specific emotions. The visual style was launched with a new album and its packaging.
