The brief was to make more young Italians donate blood. Most young Italians don’t donate blood, because they are unaware and not personally affected. The demand of blood seems very distant. We wanted to bring the demand closer. We brought it between friends. We wanted them to reach out to each each other in affection.
We made a video for Facebook, customized with photos of the user who posted it, told through the users point of view. Your friend posts the video on facebook, stating that he has been in an accident. You are seeing everything from his POV. As the situation gets worse inside the ambulance, the paramedic tries to joke away the fear, before we reach the climax – his life rushing in front of your eyes.
The “life rushing” is made from facebook pictures, selected by your friend. At this point, we ask: Will you help your friend? After seeing, and sharing a version of their own, all users receive a personal invitation to donate blood, through facebook. Read Less
