Save the Cups was a pet project developed by two colleagues and I. Our mission was to protect the lives of innocent coffee cups that are thrown away every day. The concept was a lighthearted attempt to raise awareness of what seems like a small issue, that could have a strong global impact. Our message had a sense of humor, appealing to the audience with a tongue-in-cheek flavor of 'save the children'.
I worked with my colleagues to develop the flavor of this brand, its message, logo and website. My role was as designer, which extended to logo, web, and product design. We communicated with fans through social media, making use of blogging, facebook, and twitter.
