Saqua is amodern and simplistic design piece that combines the functions of sink andtoilet in one element with a fresh minimalist form.
Its mainfeature is that it allows you to reuse the water used in basin for later use inthe toilet, allowing a saving of over 3,000 liters per person per year.
Saquacollects water as it flows down from the bathroom sink drain, filters anddisinfects it and passes it to a reservoir tank, that has a capacity of 15 liters, and uses it to flush the toilet.
Toiletflushing uses a lot of water, even if you have high-efficiency toilets. Thewater used is fresh, clean water that would otherwise be usable for otherpurposes, like bathing or cooking or drinking. When you combine the water usedin flushing a toilet and the water used in washing hands after using thetoilet, you have a substantial amount of water going down the drain.
