‘Sapele’A 56.5 metre, classically styled, wooden eco super yacht, Developed to raise awarenessof alternative, environmentally friendly building materials. Showcasing woods ability to bend naturallyinto fair curves, exploiting an indefinable beauty of line that is difficult orimpossible to produce by moulding or bending thin sheets of metal.

The aimwas to take inspiration from wooden sloops in the 1920’s and with these designcues add the modern touch. The rising sheerline and long elevated transomexhibit elegance and the low accelerating superstructure allow for a dynamiclook when at anchor. The sloop rig follows the traditional sailing form andaccentuates the clean un-interrupted lines that flow from port to starboard.
