The San Diego Zoo is one of the largest and most impressive zoos in the United States. Located in Balboa Park, San Diego, the zoo houses almost 4,000 different kinds of animals. Apart from exhibits and various other attractions, the zoo also features the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, which displays animals in free-range enclosures amounting to 1,800 acres in the San Pasqual Valley of San Diego, roughly 30 miles from the zoo.
I have created a total rebrand of the Safari Park, separating them further from the zoo and giving them a completely new identity system. Their current identity may feel like a safari, but it doesn’t necessarily stand out from the competition. My goal was to design something as exciting and wild as the animals inside.
With a fresh, new identity, the Safari Park will stand out from the competition and attract people of all ages.
