| Samara without orphans
| Task
At the beginning of the project in the Samara region , there were about 1,500 children which need a family. One of the objectives of the siteis to attract a public attention to this issue. It is also necessary to realize anonline - portal with a single regional data bank of orphaned children.
| Concept
To demonstrate the scale of the problem in our region , and focus the attention of the visitors by this way. By simplifying the process in people's perception of adoption, we can encourage interested visitors to begin the adoption process.
| Implementation
To demonstrate the extent of the problem we marked the symbolic images of children (icons ) on the map of the area. Proportion to the number of icons are the real orphans. As for legal reasons, the positionof icons may not be correspond to the actual placement of the children in the region. Each of the icons is the button that opens a window with a summary of the child.
To simplify the perception of the people in the adoption process , we set up a special page " interactive maze", where the visitor by an entertaining way goes all the way - from the collection of prior`s documents to adoption. However, for those who are used to the formal dialogue, we produced several pages of detailed instructions.
To get away from the image of a soulless state - portal, we selected catchy graphic style that actively align decorative and functional items.
