Salem’s album King Night and their music in general, is a mix of influences from many different genres. They have created a very distinct and characteristic sound, and their music and appearance has been both ridiculed and praised. The fact is that their music is simply not for everyone, but for those who like it, it takes them away to a dark, intense and almost nightmare-ish place.
The album has two front covers and no back with the objective to stand out and be different just as their music. I have focused on their facination for the dark and occult, and the framed images on the covers is representing gateways into another realm.
