In a remote corner of Southwest China, only a stones throw away from the border with Myanmar lies this fascinating burial site. The region, inhabited by the Wa minority and surrounded by dense jungle is a forgotten corner of China. The Wa were traditionally a warrior tribe of head hunters who placed the heads of their victims on spikes throughout their territiory to scare their enemies.
