SYRIA : LAND, CITIES AND PEOPLE
This series of images was shot over the first few weeks of 2011 while traveling around Syria. Having traveled to Syria in 2007 as a photographic assistant for a travel magazine I was keen to return to shoot the country from my own perspective. A few months after returning home the "Arab Spring" spread to Syria. The images I took acquired a new meaning and reflected the stillness of the Syrian people as if they are waiting for the unknown."
