In this piece I decided only to use my violin as the only acoustic source and my goal was to create a musical piece with an orchestral soundworld despite the limitations of the violins range. To accomplish that I pitched, edtied and arranged the sounds in Abelton Live 9. All the sounds where recorded with Ehrlund Acoustic Microphone (seen in picture) and Avid Mbox.

9 tracks triggering the custom made drum machine (by midi) of sounds made by tapping the violin body.
Accompaniment:
4 tracks chords of multi tracked violin arco
2 tracks chords of multi tracked violin pizz/col legno
Bass:
2 tracks of violin pitched down 2 ovtaces (!)
Melodic:
1 track (low) of violin pitched 1 octave
3 tracks (high) of multi tracked violin flagiolettes
FXs:
5 tracks of sound effects like tapping and playing with the bow on the violin body.
Sends:
7 aux tracks with different reverbs & effects to give the sense of depth among them Convolution Reverb and Divice Randomizer by Max for Live.
