The figure takes on the form of both female and male, domestic materials are disrupted to show deterioration in reproduction and sexuality. This piece developed from my ‘Rubber Head Girls’ paper collages, latex glove fingertips were cut off to speak of restrictions, deterioration of the household paint is used to reference the deterioration of the reproductive system particularly surrounding the menopause.
