    Spotify Mini Player concept
You'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't listen to music via Spotify which got me thinking about the screen real-estate which the application takes up. Keeping this in mind - I decided to concept a mini player which could sit nice and snug in the corner of your screen, unobtrusively allowing you to get on with what you're doing whilst listening to some mint tracks.
This project is by no means a full solution, yet more of an exploration and a simple advancement
    of the Spotify desktop player.
The player comes jam-packed with features including all the original controls, social media integration and a dedicated album artwork area. The artwork area is a real-time representation of the current track being played, which subsequently shows the last two songs played beneath it.
To access the miniplayer, a new shortcut has been added to the desktop menu-bar...
The following are snapshots of the player's major controls and functionality
The mini-player has the added functionality of being placed in to artwork/sleep mode. When in this mode, as soon as the user enters the artwork area a series of social media info lights up showing recent comments on the current track and also a 'share' feature to the two most prominent platforms.
