Project description
The term is derived from the name of the town of Spa, Belgium, whose name is known back to Roman times, when the location was called Aquae Spadanae, perhaps related to the Latin word "spargere" meaning to scatter, sprinkle or moisten. Finding its inspiration in elements of nature, people all around the world looked to relax and rejuvenate.
Interior is subjugated to black volcanic color that relates to the volcanic rocks, which are usually used for massage treatments and sauna. The green color mirrors the nature, plants, animals, while turquoise blue reflects freshness, clarity, oceans, etc.
The largest and most interesting part of the location is the spa pool with its simple form of turquoise blue tiles, surrounded by deck chairs and mini bar; the ceiling above the pool has hidden lighting which floral prints follow the pool shape associating with other elements in the room.
The submissive lighting with yellowish-orange tones brings warm atmosphere.
It is also taken into account that plants are suitable for a dark room with no natural light.
The massage rooms have three massage tables and cabinets placed between them to store necessary items and products for specific treatments.
In order to gain the warmth of the atmosphere, materials based on wood (teak) were used.
Along with the green flower designed pillows and flame candles, the walls seized green color prints of the Moon in order to connect with the rest of the decor.
Sauna itself has not suffered through major changes, except two types of wood-based materials combination. Combining the white pine and red cedar to simulate interflow of lava from volcanoes broke the monotony in a space.
In addition to the sauna is a sauna bath for users, where black mosaics with contrast green floral designs on the shower door are dominating.
Exquisitely designed down to the last detail, The Spa features Men’s and Women’s Toilet, bathroom and locker rooms designed as other accommodations, in order to be suitable to the Spa project.
