It was premiered at the patio central of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey MARCO, and recently presented for the Medi@rte Festival 9.0 in the Teatro del Centro de las Artes, in Monterrey, México.
S.O.S LiveCinema is a multimedia art project that consists in creating an audiovisual piece in situ through the realtime improvisation of music and visuals that interact in different ways, and suddenly create an AV conversation between ideas and feelings.
S.O.S. is divided in 4 sessions, in which VjThai explores different experimental approaches to realtime videocreation through freestyle. Using videoclips or video loops made with different processes, as the basic elements for the live visual composition.
Many feelings and ideas are evoked in a sinesthetic language that alouds for each individual to have a different experience, and therefore a different interpretation, making their own connections, opening a space/time for contemplation.
VjThai creates live video performance from her video recordings, 2D animations, photographs,edits, investigations, loops, found footage and samplings.
