This is the winning photograph of the 2nd Award NIKOS of the Contest SCULPTURE Homme
held at the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa in May 1996

The contest was made only for students of the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa,
and the jury has allocated 5 awards to the five best proposals.
It was requested a black and white photo to interpret the inspiration that led to the fragrance
and its presentation. The perfume bottle was the basis of inspiration of my work, the purity of the lines
that reflect the architecture of ancient Greece and combine strength and sensuality
in a modern interpretation of classical ideals.
The result was a photogram, a single photograph.
At the Awards Ceremony in the Cistern of the Faculdade de Belas-Artes, Lisbon.
