SCOUT was an autonomous boat that attempted an Atlantic sea crossing from Rhode Island to Spain in August of 2013. The boat was built by a group of college students in Tiverton, Rhode Island. For more information about the project visit the website: gotransat.com or Facebook page.
I was tasked with creating the hull paint design and UI/UX for a tracking and data viewing website for SCOUT. The live tracking site can be seen at gotransat.com/tracking. The project has been featured on a number of news sources including FastCoLabs, The Huffington Post and NPR.
