#SatuAsa is a solidarity movement in helping the education for children affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung in North Sumatera on September 2013 and Mount Kelud in East Java on February 2014, raised by Community of Educational Philantrophy. This movement's main aim is to support the education quality and foster the spirit of learning of the refugee children.

The Logo Digging

Literaly, Satu Asa means "One Hope". #SatuAsa itself is the movement's abbreviation for "Sejuta Alat Tulis Untuk Anak Indonesia" (a million stationaries for Indonesian children). In significance, it delivering the message to call the people together in the spirit of solidarity to help other to provide sufficient equipments in one hope for better education for the refugee children by raising donation widely. With those comprehension, I try to translating it into raw sketch for the logo concept with the approach of charity and/or solidarity imagery.
After getting quite raw sketches and deeper discussion, there come the concept closer to final conclusion, so it sorted to become three main images.
And after further digging, the final approved concept of the logo is revealed. The image of hands giving and receive the book with the book as the bound is most favored and quite encompass the idea.
The Icon

To completing the campaign gimmic, I adding an illustrated icon of a man comes to two children bringing a box fully loaded with books and papers with a red fabric.
Implementation

The logo and illustration would be placed for most of the publishing tools of the campaign. The sort of color tones and shape gimmic are follows.
