A semester long group collaboration project with 3 graphic design students and 3 interior design students. Each group was given the task of picking a culture and creating a restaurant and retail center based on that culture. The culture that we chose was the Javanese culture within Indonesia. We chose the word Rumah for the restaurant because the word means "House", which tied into our theme of being a communal restaurant. For our retail space, we chose the word Kopi because it means coffee. In Java, they make some of the best and most expensive coffee in the world. Read Less
