Royal Opera House - Winter Season. Key Art

The concept draws on themes from the ROH's Winter Season, specifically the forthcoming revival of Tosca and the eagerly awaited re-imagining of the opera Eugene Onegin, directed by the Opera House's Artistic Director Kasper Holten.

Ideas of memory, those fleeting moments in time that determine our path inlife, inform the image; Moments over which we seemingly have no control, and which when remembered distort and betray us, are represented as a chaotic store of notes and bound volumes of memories. The foreground characters (Royal Ballet principles Steven McRae and Thiago Soares) are controlled buy the forces around them - Pulled into the scene by the flow of the wind andcarried weightless.

I've continued to draw on a contemporary fashion aesthetic, working again with photographer Kevin Macintosh and Production Designer Daryl McGregor, with support from the Royal Opera House's superb costume and wardrobe team.

The campaign will launch with the Winter Season brochure. The creative will then roll-out across outdoor and online platforms, incorporating a video trailer (below) that will further unpack the concept.
