Romulus and Remus by Pallominy, based on Rubens' painting. This is the grisaille only. 48 by 72 inches acrylics on wood panel. Rubens' work is square, mine is a rectangle.
I have painted my portrait as Faustulus. Also, the two boys in front of the Capitoline she-wolf, are actually my brother Yerko Hans to the left, and myself to the right, when we were babies.
Additionally, I have painted my wife, Anna Pallominy, as Rhea Sylvia.
The bearded Mars is also my portrait.
