"Genres of music disappear, merge and begin, pop stars fade into oblivion and rock stars rise like a phoenix, the sounds that feature in our daily lives are forever in a constant state of flux. I find it quite interesting how musicians can essentially rip up their past selves and start all over again. This piece is about starting all over again, mixing up the colors of the sound, destroying the blueprint that has gone before and melting everything down to form a new shape."
