The Ringling College of Art and Design 2012 Commencement materials were based on the concept of coming together as graduates. Every student is from different places and study a variety of majors at the college, but Commencement is the one occasion where everyone comes together in the final event of their college careers. Integrated into the graduation announcement is a quote from Steve Jobs, about connecting all of your past experiences leading up towards the day. That quote is reflected into the design with the connecting of the dots and the letters within them, to create a complete word. Everything comes together to reflect the graduation experience.
