This museum is designed as a spatial mapping of contemporary artistic subcultures. Movements in art are constantly being transformed and merged with other art forms creating a complex, constantly in flux network that can be considered as a rhizome. As one moves through the museum they view the work as well as trace it's development. This progression can also be viewed from the exterior in areas of the facade in which glazing is oriented parallel to a lit display surface. The art itself forms a portion of the facade, acting as a rotating gallery for those passing by and also as an attractor to bring new visitors into the museum Read Less
