Restaurant Branding Part 1

Self Identified Brief
Restaurant branding
Part 1.
Logo Development 1.
Logo Development 2.
Throughout this brief I experimented with various techniques, one of these being screen printing. After a slight obstacle, I managed to create some intriguing designs. I experiemented with newspaper, newsprint and photographed backgrounds.
This image above was my final submission on deadline day. Following my self identified brief, I submitted four A2 boards, sketchbook and visual research summary.
The symbols below, represent the meaning of partnership. Throughout this project I was searching to embed theory into my designs.

'The Salmon’s life takes it from the Reed beds of the river to the vastness of the Sea
and back again. The female rune stick closest to the male principle, it speaks of wholeness, partnership and dedication to a cause or task.'

The partnership, is the brothers that have approached me to design the new identity for there business, which will be located in the heart of London. These patterns below can be expressed across a range of applications throughtout the restaurant.
These are my boards for final submission, showing the logo development and the flexibility across a range of applications.
