The book tells the story of one little red horse who lived in a big city and was working at subway transporting passengers as her grandmother and her mother did. One gloomy day she discovered her vivid bright color slowly began to fade. Because of the everyday routine she would probably lose her color forever. Being desperate she was wandering in the streets and accidentally met a boy who was dreaming to meet a real horse and make friends with her. This book is about friendship and support we get from each other sharing the best moments of our lifes and being inspiration to each other.

Some parts of the book include tracing paper inserts, which help to create the atmosphere. For example rain comes and goes with its help. Also when you flip them through it helps you to get a feeling the illustrations come to life.
