Sometimes you need to move out of your comfort zone in order to get inspired. So that’s what I did, alongside fellow artist Eve Duhamel, when we both migrated our studios to Berlin for a couple of months in 2008.
The gallery ‘Create Berlin’ gave us the opportunity to showcase an exhibition for one month, alongside fellow Canadian Brett Wadden. One afternoon we put our heads together and started to play around with coloured papers, a session that ended up birthing this exhibition poster. At the end all that mattered was that it represented the playfulness of our work.
