For Typography class I was to create a typeface and in doing so I used inspiration from my Grams! She is a very inspirational woman in my life- teaching me to sew as a child and volunteering as well. I created needle eyes in each letter form as well as hand stitching. For the poster I wanted to show off the letter forms and did so creating a quilted pattern.
