Radiant Dark design exhibition

Furniture designers and store owners (madedesign.ca), Julie and Shaun, noticed me admiring and collecting goodies from their store and approached me to work with them; to develop a brand and image for an exhibition they were putting together, showcasing modern emerging design in Canada. The name "Radiant Dark" refers to the shining talent of Canadian designers in the midst of a cold, dark February in Canada -- the name and art direction became eerily ironic when a tragic fire wiped out a block of heritage buildings in Toronto, only three doors down from the gallery and only one day before the show opening. A memorable event, for multiple reasons...
