Bank office interior in a combined retail and residential complex. This 'space in the clouds' fits the upbeat surroundings of the entirely new city center of Vleuterwijde without adding to the emphatically retro urban design.
The spatial challenge was fitting a reception, meeting rooms, internet spaces and cash machines, together with a staff room into a broad fronted but very shallow space.
Vertical ribs are used as a recurring feature to break up the long interior space.
