Royal Oak is a city of over 60,000 residents, yet visitors only know the city for its popular downtown street. We felt the city spent too much attention on the downtown area, and forgot about the other essential parts that make the city great. This identity is designed to show the working together of all parts of the city: government, education, residential, leisure, and recreation. The kinetic identity grows and changes color depending on the size and topic of the promoted events. Collaboration with Megan Shellenbarger and Michael Shanoski.
