This collection has been inspired bythe Basilica di San Lorenzo Fuori Le Mura (The Papal Basilica of Saint Lawrence outside theWalls). The Basilica is a Roman Catholic Parish church and minorBasilica located in Rome, Italy. It is one of the seven Pilgrim Churches inRome and one of the five Patriarchal basilicas. Before the present-day the basilicawas constructed, the estate upon which it sits was once home to a small oratorybuilt by Emperor Constantine I. The emperor built it over the site on which, itis believed, Saint Lawrence was executed.
The portico, c. 1220, has Cosmati decoration by the Vassaletti family ofcraftsmen. The choir enclosure and pulpit also has Cosmati decoration, andthere is also a fine Cosmati Paschal candlestick made in the 12th or 13thcentury, where the lining for the “ROMA-NZA” Collection has been derived.

The palette for the “ROMA-NZA”Collection is very colorful, powerful and romantic. It includes deep ruby (RUBINO),lush mustard (SENAPE) and blue ocean (Oceano) colours. The primary leather forthis collection is a soft Timeless Nappa leather, which will feel and look evenmore gorgeous as it ages.
