Lights have come a long way in a short time, and with the breakthrough of LED technology, we’re in the midst of another revolution. But as we look to the future, it’s wise to remember the past.
Some objects, though obsolete today, we never seem to have lived without. The oil lamp is one of these, existing now only in our memory – or “ricordo” in Italian.
When fully charged the lamp can ‘burn’ from 4 to 100 hours, depending on light intensity. And, thanks to an elegant touch dimmer, the light dims smoothly. The LED's life span is 25 years, its light output 250lum – equivalent to the old 25W.
