Quince is a porcelain ball jointed artist doll I created. She was completed in November 2011. She is my first dark skin tone doll. Quince is named after an original artist face mould I created for her. She was slip cast in fine porcelain, fired multiple times in a ceramic kiln and has permanent bisque paints applied to her. Her eyes are also hand made by me. Her wig is made of mohair. Quince is strung with a stainless steel spring mechanism with leather lined joint sockets. She stands aproximately 48cm tall.
